The Loner Bakugan Brawler

Shun Kazami

Shun Kazami is formerly the number one Bakugan brawler until Masquerade showed up and he moved down to 6th rank. Together with Dan Kuso, his best friend and childhood friend, he invented the gameplay for Bakugan. His grandfather's desire to train him as a ninja made him stop brawling for a while and because his mother got sick.

Shun is a 12-year old boy with black hair tied into a long ponytail and wears a purple jacket. He lives in the province and is a Ventus attribute player. He is a loner, yet is willing to help his friends at all costs. His Guardian Bakugan is a Ventus Skyress, whom Shun received from his sick mother. Skyress later evolved into Ventus Storm Skyress.

In the second season, Shun came to New Vestroia completely by accident, and explained why Dan couldn't contact him in episode 1; he was up alone in the mountains working on his ninja skills, when a warp hole appeared and he was sucked into New Vestroia. He is 15 years old in the second series.

The Bubbly Bakugan Brawler

Julie is a 12 year old girl who also likes to play Bakugan. She came from a family who lives in an isolated Bakugan Valley Australia. She is described as a bubbly, fun loving girl and adores Dan Kuso.

Julie forgets things easily, proving that she is a little scatterbrained at times. In the Japanese version, Julie spices her speech with American phrases, differentiating her personality from the others. She is a Subterra battler and her guardian Bakugan is her Subterra Gorem. Gorem then evolves into Subterra Hammer Gorem. Julie has a sister named Daisy who has bested her in everything since she was a child .

To add some spice in the story, Julie may seem jealous and hates Runo but they end up as good friends.

Stay tuned for the latest from your favorite Bakugan brawlers and their latest adventures.

Marucho Marukuro - The Walking Encyclopedia

Marucho is a 10-year old intelligent boy. He is also very generous and with the kind of knowledge that he has, he is fond of creating strategies rather than just using brute force. He used to be very obedient to his parents just because he wanted to please them, but that changed when he met the Brawlers and Preyas.

Marucho is an Aquos battler. His Guardian Bakugan is his Aquos Preyas, which, later in the series, is revealed to have a special evolution, allowing him to burp up his two twin brothers, Preyas Angelo, which resembles an angel, and his brother, Preyas Diablo, which resembles a devil, and this allowed Marucho to not only keep Preyas in his original form, but his 'brothers' as well.

In the second season, Marucho returns to New Vestroia with Dan after overhearing Drago's plan to leave Marucho, Runo, Shun, Alice, and Julie behind. While feeling depressed about no longer having a guardian Bakugan, and having been separated from Preyas, Angelo and Diablo, Marucho sets out to find a new one, and he runs into Aquos Elfin, a female Bakugan who is also able to change attributes.

Catch the latest battles of Marucho Marukura as he survives other Bakugan Brawlers and the Bakugan series.

Runo Misaki and Tigrerra

Runo Misaki

Runo Misaki is also an 11-year old girl but with a boyish personality. Like Dan she also loves to play Bakugan and it doesn't matter if her opponent is a boy. Runo is described as short tempered little girl and that she hates losing at Bakugan. She and her guardian bakugan called Haos Tigrerra have close ties together.

On the later part of the Bakugan story, Runo's guardian bakugan Haos Tigrerra evolved into Blade Tigrerra. In Bakugan: New Vestroia. she met other Bakugan brawlers named Keith, Gus, Mylene, Lync, and Shadow Prove of the Vexos.

Runo can be a sore loser and her battling can be inconsistent. She sometimes gets in the way of her team members. Runo has a crush on Dan (although she wouldn’t admit it) and is jealous of Julie. In battle she uses light attributes.

Bakugan Characters - The Main Protagonist

His mom is a big yoga fan and an impressive cook, while his dad is obsessed about pudding and has a personality similar to Dan's, only he's a little more clueless.
